....more accurate would be 'not very well planned', but it was still super nice. old friend and stellar cellist Lori Goldston was passing through town this past week (played a show at the Parlor Room), and she graciously came into the Boomerang Ranch and laid down some rather righteous improv cello on 4 works-in-progress (2 from the covers album, 2 originals from whatever the next Winterpills album will be). Thank you, Lori; godspeed and here's to more (we hope).

Flora & Philip have been slowly chipping away at a covers album of stuff they love, this winter/spring.

Looks like it's kinda jelling nicely.

We recorded one of Beck's songs from his Song Reader project. We were asked by the folks at NPR. It will be used in the interview with Mr. Hansen that will air Dec. 29 on Weekend Edition.
