‘Tuxedo of Ashes’ EP due out sept. 14th actually, Oct. 5. Sorry. (actually we will have copies to sell by Sept. 14th – Oct 5 is the ‘official’ iTunes etc release date).

6 new songs.

all recorded at home (the boomerang ranch), from april-july of this year.

a bunch of friends and guest artists played and sang on it too, not limited to but including mark mulcahy, grant-lee phillips, chris collingwood and erin mckeown.

lillianna pereira did some wonderful original art (see above).

Unfortunately this show is already sold out, but it is a benefit for the Northampton victims of arson. So, that’s a good thing.

But — Winterpills are playing a show this Saturday, Jan. 23rd at the Academy of Music in Northampton at 8 p.m., with Arlo Guthrie and Primate Fiasco.

We’re really looking forward to it. We’re on first.

We are excited to remind you that we will be touring with Grant Lee Phillips starting Friday, Nov. 13. It will be a lovely little tour: Winterpills will be a stripped down 3 piece on this one, playing a few new ones, and we’ll also be accompanying Grant on some of his set as well. He’s touring in support of his amazingly sweet new album, Little Moon.

We’ve been a fan of Grant since the Grant Lee Buffalo days hence this is a real treat and honor for us.
